Luggage Rack for the Phoenix

With the trip to Laon looming, it's time to think about luggage room. Although I have built in some storage with the glove pockets and sidepod locker, it is painfully inadequate for a short holiday. You see, my wife is coming.

Anyway, I've bitten the bullet and made a rack that is surely big enough (and strong enough) to accommodate everything she decides she cannot do without!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

ah, no, it could be alright, because the filler looks to be outside the diagonal bars, so bags possibly won't go that far over, so you won't need to take all your bags off, but you'll still need to negotiate btween the bars

I have been known to make some terrible gaffs but I did work out the bar spacing and the bracing tube beforehand and it should be okay providing, as has been said, there is no baggage immediately over the top of the filler cap.

John,

If you could hinge it about the roll-bar then it would also make a fine bar-b-que.

;-)
