What do i do now?
Pretty much finished my chassis apart from a few bits of welding but what do i do now?
Still have yet to fit the floor and make the suspension and front wishbone brackets but do i paint the chassis first?
Also, do i get the fuel tank made and get the engine running before painting?
Its been a long day i my brain cant work hard enought to work it out
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

is the frame coated in anything? If not I'd paint it next, or it might rust horribly, and I wouldn't fancy grinding off rust with an
engine in place, just because it would be a pig to keep everything clean.
Whipping out a 1.5 tonne engine isn't a five minute job

get your suspension sorted first, as brackets need welding on. I would get it built up before painting to ensure you dont forget any brackets! How are
you attaching the floor and what material?

In a perfect world I would get the car as near to finished as possible , then strip it for paint . No matter how thorough you are there will allways
be brackets and bits to add.....
Its cuz I is blond , innit

Will weld for food......

paint in oxide primer now, but don't give a final finish tll the chassis's complete and all your trial fitting of rngines and stuff is
done.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

you can buy weld through paint, works well to protect the metal and you don't have to bother removing the paint when adding a bit.
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet
