Could you lift a zetec engine above your head?

The gold medal olympic women's weight lifter lifted a bar weighing 117kg

yeah, course i could ..... as long as it was supported on a chain and i was using a large lever

117kg ..... i only weigh 85kg and want to lose some of that!

although i did go out with a Polish girl who used to powerlift (long story), her standard keep fit routine involved lifting over 90kg

Strange innit. If you went to work and lifted a Zetec above your head on the workfloor health and safety would wet themselves with excitement but stretch the whole thing out to 7 or 8 feet long and they'll leave you alone and show it on telly!

I pulled my shoulder out lifting a pallet, why would I buy an engine hoist if I didn't need one?

I used to be able to bench press 55KG, but probably not any more.

Pulleys and a length of rope is the answer.....
