Talk Talk

Beware, changed to Talk-Talk. On day of change over lost broadband, then incoming calls and finally the line went dead. Took two calls lasting near two hours each and was without a land line for five days. Apparently I am not the only one to experience this poor service, so if you are thinking of changing to Talk-Talk beware.

Yes, that's Talk Talk. They may make some people happy, but the year I had with them was awful. I went with UKOnline for broadband eventually and they have been perfect.

You're lucky.
Took me 3 months to get re-connected after I was "upgraded for free" from 2mb to 8mb.
I spent about 30hrs on calls to India where a bunch of "script readers" tried to get me to practically rebuild my PC before they would pass me to 2nd stage support.
Sometimes I was on hold for 45 mins before being cut off.
Now with BT. They seem to sort out problems quickly and even remote into my PC to fix things like email account settings (with my permission).

i have tt just for the basic land line, which i dont use at all, but you seem to need for any other BB provider. Costs £14 per month, im sure im wasting at least some of it. I have free calls on the mobile and dont even answer the house phone if it rings.

Joined TT nearly two years ago and yes, had initial probs for about two months but
since has been spot on. No plans to change.
