I've look on eBay and there are tons of electric high pressure pumps. Any particular specs? Any recommended brand? Bosch?
About the swirl pot... Can it be placed next to the pump in the engine bay area, like a kind of auxiliary tank or intermediate chamber? Is the height
important, either for the pump and the swirl? Because the tank as you know is aligned with the bottom of the car.

you need to right click on the pic and copy its whole address, or save it and re-host it yourself....

same reason I went for carbs on mine
I just didn't think I'd get enough extra performance for my money on the pinto...
you'll get more preformance for your money by changing to a bigger or more modern engine - this will be much cheaper in the long run
130bhp is fairly easy to get from a 2.0 pinto with fast road camshaft, bike carbs etc...
but the standard output of a 2.0 zetec is 130bhp, 2.0 duratecs are 145 standard..... and so on - these can be much cheaper than tunning a pinto
but if you want to stick with the 1600 pinto you'll get more power by porting the head, fitting bigger valves and picking the right camshaft and
just run it on carbs (ashg's offer is very good value - my similat setup cost me more than 2x that)
you could think about EFI later to get the last few horse power....
