what about an austin healey frogeye
Just found an almost finished project in my auto rag i get for £2500 with lots of frogeye memorabilia thrown in,1959 car with original 948 engine on
carbs.
rust free body restored needs bonnet and seat trim.

That's a dear magazine you get there. I buy admags, costs much less and great choice of gear.

Bob.... you rumbled my plan!! Bugger!
I would dearly love a Frog Eye Sprite but the pedals are too close together as my right foot completely covers both the brake and accelerator pedals
so i would be going nowhere fast...literally!!
There is a girl up my road who has got a restored one and she let me sit in it. Very nice but as i said the pedals were too close together. Even
customising the pedal layout would not work.
I think the MX-5 Mk1 looks a little like a Frogeye Sprite...if you squint!!
