Introduction

Hello there boys and girls.

Thought I would post a little introduction before bombarding you with questions.

My name is Sean, and I am contemplating building myself a locost type car. Many moons ago I read the Ron Champion book, and whilst it looked smart, I was lacking in the fabrication skills and tooling to construct it.

Now however, after having to quite scuba diving, I needed a new way of spending money. So, I have started tidying my garage, and filling it with tools.

So, now I have a nice shiny new welder to replace my manky old one, plus drill press, evolution chopsaw, bench grinder etc. plus a load of measuring and marking out tools.
And, I now know how to use them all

So, my thoughts have been turning towards getting a new project for when the current one is finished (current project is a honda VTR1000 streetfighter, with single sided swingarm, underseat exhaust etc.)

Obviously, the project I am thinking of is a little open top sports car thingy, more than likely the haynes roadster, as the book is pretty good, and I like the idea of IRS.

Well, enough about me, I'm sure I will have plenty of questions for you all soon

Cheers

Sean

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
