What did we all think of the Autosport show?
As title what did we think?those that went anyway.
I thought it was very good, the action areana was very good some very good driving and the figure 8 bangers were mad!!
Wilson junior in the WRC focus was good and the Mini's doing wheelies whilst racing was great.
Very good show i thought

I went along to the trade day yesterday, had a pretty good and successul day all in all. Wasn't orginally planning on bothering with the live
action stuff but think it was worth it soley for the figure of 8 bangers!

First time i've been, thought it was good and really enjoyed it. Didn't see any of the live shows, as the free ticket i had didn't
include them. Had to make do with watching all the girlies on the stands
Bumped into a couple of people i knew including Tony MK blade off here.
All in all a good day out.

Less exhibitors than previous years.
Less punters than previous years.
We also found the drive down and back up spookily quiet
Still a good show though.

Was good to get to another car show after the Winter off but the live show seemed to have less cars than last year. No drag racers or American stuff.
There appeared to be less stalls than last year too but there were more that you could buy bits from which was good. Also seemed to be less girlies
than last year too but as my brother pointed out, they just seemed to get rid of the fuglies from last year.
All in, it was alright and got a free goodie bag on the way out which had a cap, hair wax (!) shaving lotion, body wash and some fancy drink in a
bottle.

Decided to go at last minute (Hellfire saved us £30 with a promo code that still worked).
Not been before but enjoyed every minute.
Live show was interesting, wheeling grasstrack minis!!! Best driving of live show had to be Wilson in the WRC Focus.
Great show can't wait for Stonleigh now...

Autosport/Pistonheads Show
Didn't feel that the show was as good as 2 years ago. There seemed to be a huge wad of nostalgic stuff, re F1 in particular. On the good side,
there was a very informative stand from 750MC, with a few very interesting cars, one of which was a Luego-based racing Locost (1300 Xflow). Very
useful chatting to the owner/driver.
As for the young ladies, (give 'em benefit of the doubt), there was far too much cellulite on display, with only a couple of exceptions. Some of
those legs should have been covered, they really weren't attractive.
Perhaps I'm just getting older.
PS - Did anyone notice the Aspid stand? They displayed a 7-esque type vehicle, apparently built using loadsa lightweight c/f (maybe) body panels. The
chassis on show, had some from of crushable side intrusion protection panels. But, watching a guy getting out of the car, I noticed that the forward
edge of the flip-up door aperture, was positioned precisely to catch the head of anyone unwary.
Poor detail design.
