Sylva Striker 2.0 XE £2,500

And if that isn't an attention grabbing title, then I don't know what is.

Grabbed from the Sylva Chat list.

Hi all long time since i posted anything and i was hoping it would not
be this, but as per title i must now sell my car to pay some bills.

Breifly i have owned it for 6 years, mot,ed till 25/4/09,currently
sorned.
It has a 2.0ltr 16 valve vauxhall XE engine.Done less than 1000 miles
since rebuild.
Just needs taxing to start enjoying the tremendous power/fun that i
have enjoyed.
It is very reliable and starts first time every time.
It would benifit from some cosmetic TLC which i have not been able to
give it recently.
I am looking for a realistic £2500 or very near offer.
I have put a few quick pics on photobucket that i hope this will link
to.

Please feel free to tell anyone you think may be interested as i do
need to sell quite quickly.
Cheers Paul Harcombe.

Absolute steal, a Striker with an XE is going to be a very quick car as well.

God, i'm almost tempted .....

must finish my car.

That does seem a remarkable price, esp when someone is selling a chassis & GRP that needs building for 2k elsewhere on here.

For those that are tempted please note that Strikers are minuscule (smaller than a book Locost) so if you are particularly long of leg or wide of girth you might be disappointed.

I used to hillclimb a Striker and can tell you that they have masses of legroom and well spaced pedals. I fitted one of Sylva's own glassfibre bucket seats, and could fit in it without a problem. And I'm 15stone ...(all muscle you understand)

I have a Striker, and whilst the drivers cockpit has a decent amount of legroom, it's very narrow (my Intatrim Odessey seats literaly have to be squashed to fit into place) and the passenger side is for shortarses only. I understand that some changes were made to them through the years though, and mine is a fairly early one.

I have a rather large friend (6'7" and nearly 20 stone) and the only way he can fit is to sit oo the tunnel and put one leg on each side

If people from Poland are Poles shouldn't people from Holland be Holes ? I hope they aren't just buying it for the registration details like a lot of Duttons have gone there for.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
