Laptop Volume

Any ideas on how to get any more volume from my laptop. I'm just using the laptop speakers and I have the mixer volumes up to full and same on media player but there just isn't enough volume. The jumping volume bar thing doesn't make it up to the top to 100. My last laptop had XP and that was okay but with this Vista one I can't hear it loud enough.

Likely to be the speakers, you could re-install the drivers if you think there's a software problem --> do a search for Realtek HD audio drivers.

On some laptops there's a hardware option. On my Dell it's Fn PgUp
