She breathes again... kinda....

Well finally getting the old girl (now officially nick named Gladys by my family ) back together after some major rewiring and engine work over the winter...

Am pleased to report she fired up first time but....

the fuel pressure regulator i fitted last year seems to have decided one summer was all it was worth and appears to have blown its seals... fuel leaking out all over it

new one on order and tax disc will be bought on the 1st so should be on the road for the weekend....

Therefore I predict that it will now rain every weekend for the forseable future

Are you sure the seals haven't just dried up? Its happened to me before when i fitted my carbs, fuel pee'd everywhere, left it over night and was fine the next day after the seals had soaked up some fuel and expanded again

Well done Dave, mine is getting close to being finished but will miss the SVA dead line might need to call round to see how you overcame a few problems that I am currently grappling with.
