Whats the fastest turnaround for Borehamwood registration?

What's the fastest someone has managed to get a registration from completion of inspection, and forms? Has anyone had them do it "while you wait" ?

James

Nope fraid not. Just submitted a claim via the DVLA Swansea compensation scheme and that seemed to get things moving quite quickly down @ E+B DVLA office....

Lots of 'discussion' at Borehamwood after they insisted at inspection that they had to issue the VIN and weren't prepared to accept the manufacturer's VIN that I had stamped and attached. No problem with the VIN, just that they insisted that any Q mark had to have a DVLA VIN and not a manufacturer's VIN. Not happy at the time but the scars are fading.....

Had to change the VIN and get a garage to witness and fill in a form.

To the DVLA's credit I faxed them the garage witness form and other docs and they had the registration certificate (for getting the plates made) on the doormat the next day.......
