Suck it! Honestly.

Well, i have a ip4000 and thats what i do. It arrived with one blocked, got a new head from canon under warrent. Same.

However, run the head whole-sale under the tap, then, with the cartage area flooded with water stick your mouth over the bottom and suck all the ink out. Spit, and rinse mouth.

Its a bit foul tasting, but not much more, and it works.

Towel it dry, whack it back in, run a head clean to flush out the water. Volia. Hopfully.

sadly not. I tried everything

- soaking it in water
- sucking water through it - yuk
- soaking it in ethanol
- injecting a cartridge with ethanol and printing with it
- hot water

All just seemed to to either do not good at all or make it worse.

Have ordered new print head as it was gettin urgent! Final thesis needs to be printed and bound by the 15th!!

Thank you for everyones help!

Rupert
