I was told free dental was only availible for students up to 18. I'm still a full time student but comfortably over 18 so my last checkup cost
£16 with an NHS practice.

See this is what gets me, you can be really fat and smoke and have all sorts of problems through it and the NHS is free, but if you fall over and
knock a tooth out you got to pay.
Is the NHS free or not?

As AshG said - whilst you're still in full-time education (this includes university), NHS dentist work is still free. There's no upper
age restriction, I left uni at the ripe old age of 23 and my yearly checkup (plus the occasional little filling) costa peanuts!

There is a form you have to fill out to get free presciptions and dental.
However If you have to much money or your parents do you won't get it.
I was going to get the form filled out as would of been ok but never needed it.
