POR15

Hi!
Just looking for some help on POR15... My daily driver at some time has had a repair at the front and there are areas that were not covered properly and has some surface rust.... The thing is that some areas are difficult to get at and there will be areas that still have paint on. Will POR15 be o.k. to use in this case or is it worth just cleaning it up a bit then painting some etch primer on then either waxoyl or underseal it? Any advice would be good. I understand that POR15 will not go onto existing paint o.k. If I go the POR15 route is it worth using the paint prep spray also.... Problem is I can throw money at it but is it really necessary.....

thanks
Dave B

PQR 15 seems to go onto pretty much anything..I've even used it to cover chips in the garage floor paint . What it doesn't like is smooth surfaces, so as long as you key it, I'd have thought it'd be ok.
