Building: built mk indy blade now got a cobra

blade starting prob

hi there
i have been having problems starting my blade engine
it seems to be the plugs as if i put new ones in or clean them it starts ok
when i take them out they black ,wet and smell heavily of fuel

what could be causing this

One (or maybe more) of your float bowls is flooding/overflowing.

Try tapping it (gently!) with a ring spanner to hopefully dislodge whatever dirt or grime that may be causing the float-bowl needle to not sit flush and therefore overflow...

Std airbox or other type, have you changed anything lately. has it been run lately. tend to agree with above

its a foam sausage filter not changed anything else
it was running yesterday after cleaning plugs an ran for 3-4 miles

How old is the fuel? i know mine started to gunk up the carbs but m fuel was 2 years old

nope not messed about with fueling only changed fuel pipes
and its fresh fuel

it should not be fuel pressure as i i got an facet low pressure pump 1.5 psi
the fuel is quite new bought on monday

Are facets interuptor pumps ie shut down when it meets resistance (float needle closing)
or are they designed to have a return.
