Header Tank Capacities

Header tank size

Making my own header tank for R1 2003 engine, we use various size aluminium tube and machine billet end caps at work.

Should be able to make pretty cheap and look the biz.

What capacities (ltr) or sizes has any one got.

Please Dave

Have n't you already asked this? here

You are better off with a plastic tank that enables you to see the level.
If you plumb it correctly, you should have a 16mm bottom pipe and an 8mm top pipe.
Capacity is probably around 1 ltr with only a 500ml fill. The other 500ml is for expansion and air removal.
Do a search as this has been covered so many times before...............
