Sierra Steering Rack?

Hi All,

I went to size up the steering rack i got from stoneleigh into the car, and offered it up to the existing, and its not only different, its too short!

Ive had a quick scan on fleabay and found what i need, but only with power steering, not normal.

Does anyone know where to get a reasonably priced one like the below, but without power steering?

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

bit confused by it being too short, all sierra racks are the same length, power or non.

There are three different casings, the power one, alloy manual one or steel manual one.

sierra non pas racks are cheap as chips and common as muck!

I didnt say that i had a sierra one???

The rack i bought from rally design is an escort one, hence too short, and ive discovered that the one i have in the car is a sierra rack - hence the question about where to get one.

As you rightly say, sierra racks are "Cheap as Chips and Common as muck", but the question i had was where do i get one from.

Ideally id like one for nothing, but in the real world, a reconditioned one would do.

Do they come in "Quick" as well as standard like the escort racks?
