MS1 and Zetec Injector Queries

Hi,
I found the problem with the Zetec EDIS and am now getting a spark. Thanks for the help everyone!

I now can't seem to get the injectors working.

I have put a noid light on the injector and do not see a light.

The MS says its is pulsing the injector. It is set of simultanous pulse

There is 12v on one side of the injetor and the other side is connected to all 4 of the injector outputs on the MS.

Am I missing something or is there somethng else to check and test?

Thanks

Frank

You may want to check ur wiring at the MS, there are 2 injector channels. You can either wire earth of 2 injectors to each channel. Or wire all 4 injector earth to one channel. U may have wired both channels together.

I'm not an expert but have you earthed it correctly, the MS switches the injectors to earth I understand.

So you will have 12 to one side the other side is switched to earth.

'fraid not - wasted spark is what he's getting from the EDIS and relates to ignition.

Have you tried just wiring all the injectors back to the one injector channel?

What is the impedence of 1 injector? Stick a multimeter across the terminals and measure the resistance. If they're low impedence, there's a chance you've blown the injector drivers...

(maybe I missed what the solution was)

Your injectors will be low impedance, make sure you do not fry the transistors in the squirty box. Follow then PWM instructions closely!

I measured the resistance and they were around 14.5 ohms.

Does this sound correct?
