not usually known for heads going.

No.3 piston and bore is the usual.

Or the main bearings due to oil over heating or starvation.

as a rule these engines are reliable,
they dont like miss-use and lack of servicing.

perfect mileage for big end failure, well actually its over, 70k is the norm

Our local engineering firm had a head off one to repair, cracked between valve seats and the bloke wanted it welding.
