does anyone know where i can find the weight of a VAG 1.8 20v turbo lump.

with or without the box.

How much does a Zetec weigh then?

Thats actually quite heavy compared to other, more powerful engines

I think the Zetec is about 120kg iirc?

ZETEC 120! Really.. thats light. with no anc i guess.

I dont think the 20v is that heavy. i need to weigh it really to get an exact weight.

The fully dressed one we weighed was 146kg... remember that it's an iron block!
