We got an official warning a few days ago that there's a batch going round at the moment infected with anthrax spores....

Quite often that happens when the dealer hasn't cut it with other stuff so they inject too much.

You're right, I didn't check the date on that story.
Here's the one I heard recently

Interesting that they're both in Scotland though...

20 people per small town die each month of drug related problems ......these are replaced by 20 idiots who set about doing the same thing again.
The scottish goverment gives them free drugs to stop them stealing from others.
They top up with illicit supplies to speed up the darwin award application...
Thats 20 per small town per month
In the big citys the numbers are much higher 10 x that.
Multiplied by how many towns in the uk and now you see how big the problem is......

You don't need to contaminate it to get the desired result. Just give the adicts an unlimited supply of the uncut stuff. You'd only need
to do it for a couple of weeks.

Ive had a few die on me at work, not pleasant at all, especially if they die leaning forward as a lot do. They are pretty much unrecognisable. A
couple of them had never taken it before and it devastated their families.
Whilst i agree in giving it out free to stop crime, there would have to be a system to stop "newbie" 16 year olds getting involved.
And there isnt one.
Bunch of tw**s i know, but still someones inexperienced and misguided son or daughter.

Take heroin and you risk death. Your choice.
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

If you ever want to put someone off heroin then I'd recommend the HBO documentary "black tar heroin" from the mid 90's.
There's one guy who is taken to hospital due to a blood infection, he's skin and bones, has AIDS from shared needles and what does he do?
Discharges himself and uses the IV point on his chest to inject. The doc shows how delusional most addicts are, they keep talking about "when
i'm clean I'll do xyz..." but they never do

A cousin of mine just died of pneumonia. She was 56 and a heroin addict for half her life, more recently on methadone. She was not a happy camper.
Very middle class background and a nice person, although quite unreliable in recent years. Her life story would make a very interesting, but sad,
film.

There was a similar film about this, I think it was called "Adam and Joe"
It had the two guys names in the title and while it was pretty funny for the most part got very poignant and sadly true at the end
