Anyone know about mk2 escorts?
Couple of questions....
Why were capri struts a popular mod back in the day?
Ive hear mondeo calipers bolt on, but what disks do you use?
Cheers!

Some Capris had bigger brakes up fron and heavier springs the 3.00 litre S were the ones to go for. I think the crossmember also fitted
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Really not a good idea --- a hangover from Mk1 Escort and Lotus RS models it take too long to explain.
Just stick to MK2 Escort struts.

the capri 2.8i struts lowers the front 1" i seem to remember
loads of brake options out there also most are very similar to what locost use.
forget the oldskool routes like princess 4 pots ect best route would be a light weight alloy version from the usual suspects

Cool, cheers guys. Sounds like a bit of a parts bin special which worked ok when there were no better aftermarket alternatives but has now been
superceded by better stuff.
Anyone got any idea about the mondeo calipers?

the mondeo calipers i think depend on what wheels you run, i don't think they will fit under 13"
i also remember people using bmw e30 discs,
have a look on turbosport.co.uk
