I have just started my Zetec 2.0L, however there appears to be blow back through the carbs what would cause this?
Timing issue?

Have you blocked the upper air hoses?

Give me a shout and I'll come down and see if I can help.

When i mean blow back, i understand that the mist is normal, it was like a misfire through the carb, i could see like a flame on each carb, it happens just sometimes not constantly, is this normal?, cheers steve i might take you up on that offer, really im just needing advice on getting the carbs set up, jet sizes etc,
i have not blocked the top air pipes and not blocked the air bleeds yet, 190 mains, any advice is appreciated

cam timing will give you blow back through the carbs that would do it all the time though.

Does it rev ok? Are the diaphragms sealed ok?
