WTD...Super cheap alloy set
Hi
I'm having my first ever track day on the 7th of May
So i'm looking for a super cheap tyre and alloy wheel combo to rag on the day as the R888s on there are brand spanking new and the alloys are
pretty neat too and I don't fancy killing them on a curb
The wheels are 15" and are fitted with 205/50 tyres
I live in Chelmsford
Cheers
Stephen

I can see the want for not recking yur nice allys on a track day but i think you need to rethink your tyre plan???
I have a second set of wheels for track use with the same decent tyres i run for the road (granted its a normal ish road car not a kit car)

I'd find a set of wheels to put the R888's on for the trackday and use the cheapies on the road if you really have to..

simply because this is my 1st track day, if I like it then im happy to use the tyres as they are intended, but it seems a shame to ruin a decent set
if i will only be using it on the road

I've got some 13 inch ford alloys (Lasers or RS) and on these I have some new Yoko AO32's. I also have a part worn set of slicks which
are nice and soft and have a good bit of rubber left. You can have the whole lot for £230.
Your getting the wheels for nothing and some new track day tyres (very well rated) and a set of slicks!

I would rethink your strategy. Far better to use the tyres and wheels you've got than risk using some crap tyres and end up hitting the wall and
bending the car. If its your 1st trackday I would use the 888's and put up with a bit of wear.

I have a set of Ford alloys which I think are off an Xr2 (pepperpot design), I want about what I'd get for scrap which is £35. Not sure if all
the tyres are legal, I think 2 are & 2 aren't. I'm just down the A130 from you at Benfleet.
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Cheers for the offers, I think im gonna use the tyres I have
On reflection it seems a bit stupid not to use them as they are intended
