taxing a car

Hi all, picking up a nice formual 27 over the weekend but it hasn't got tax and hoping to drive it home.

So how can I get tax without the V5, can I go to his local post office with the small part of the V5 togther with MOT and ins certs and get a tax disc??

yes, i have one here and it says you can use for taxing for 2 months from the date on it.

yes you can tax with the new keepers supplement.
