throttle cable

need a new throttle cable for mk indy running 2 litre zetec...the current one has been chopped down and has no nipples on either end....anyone know where i could get one? or would i still have to chop down to give correct length?

Ive used bike brake cables for 3 years no problems

thanks guys......will have a look at what exactly is fitted on my car....then first port of call will be to attack one of the unused mountain bikes in the shed lol

think i solved my problem....the throttle was very jerky in its motion despite trying to lubricate....on closer inspection i noticed the route the cable took gave it 2 fairly tight turns so i re routed it along a much "friendlier" path and the whole thing is much more fluid in its motion......hopefully i can get the much needed smoother take offs instead of breaking my neck each time
