VW golf cuts mid driving
My sister has a vw golf r reg 2.0 gti (8valve)
She says while driving it will every now and then just cut out
I have checked the car and can't find anything obvious.
Thought it may be a blocked fuel filter, but that was changed and still did not fix it.
earth leads seem to be in good condition.
Apparantly some of the relays were prone to fail, but she has changed those with no luck.
Anyone know what might cause this?

find out what it does when it cuts out.
does i sputter to a stop or just stall?
maybe worth checking the injectors see if they fill the same amount.
and then see if it maybe a problem with fuel lines.
my fuel pump got blocked after i ran my car dry one day. i had to strip n clean and since then it aint cut out but stilll misses occasionally so im
getting the injectors looked at.

Crank sensor or connections.

Very common problem on the Mk3 Golf, as BT says the crank sensor would be number 1 suspect.
