Having just helped chriss with a rear end rebuild on his check the chassis, they rot out completely in places you can't see. Make sure the diff isn't leaking as they are prone to seal fails & a replacement diff is lots of money.

If you don't have it already buy the tvr bible, it will pay for itself very quickly.

Does it have a mauve carpet ?

Edited to add:

how does a low volume manufacturer get away with cable tying the brake lines and the loom down the chassis, yet this has been deemed as not acceptable under sva let alone iva.

hi

yep know what you mean about cable ties etc,

diff seals have been replace a year ago with a rebuild on the diff,

mechanically it is sound vast history 58k on it came with the bible as part of the history,

chasis looks sound but will investigate more also.

also has mauve carpets that we will replace asap.
