Pinto Hoses

Can anyone who as put a pinto in their car tell me what size coolant hoses they have used. I have bought a few from halfords and bought one off Avoneer, but they never seem to fit. Either too long or too short. Im using a polo rad so it has 35mm outlets.
I have the small hose for the header tank so that is sorted.
Also where is the best to get them from, i dont really want to pay halfords prices. Is there any hoses off the sierra or any other cars that would fit?

go to a scrapyard with a ruler and get a selection of likely looking hoses - you wont pay a lot for them as what kinda sicko wants a bunch of old hoses?

If you mark em up, you can ID them and buy the real deal new if you want to. However even common sierra hoses are 15+ quid to buy new......

I'm using a Polo rad as well.
Managed to get 32mm on the Polo rad which makes things easier to find. 32mm - 32mm for top hose to thermostat housing and 32mm to 38mm from bottom of rad to water pump.
I used expensive Halfords Vulcoflex stuff.
Hope that helps...
