Clutch centring tool
Does anyone know the diameter of the standard gearbox input shaft? (Pinto type 9 etc) Or the internal diameter of the spigot bearing? I'm
turning up a mandrel for centring the clutch before I take it to bits.

its a 1" 23 spline, So you want 1" minus twice the depth of the splines.

Yes agree with that, large dia to match splines is .91 inch or 23.2 mm. I need the smaller dia of the input shaft, it's about 5/8 inch or so

Either use a Socket of the right external diameter as the Input shaft. V likely there is one in your toolbox, failing that, a bit of wooden dowel.
You are only looking to cenralise the clutch disc while tightening the pressure plate nuts.
