Masters Racing - Oulton Park

Just got back from a great day at Oulton Park watching the Masters Racing. (Plus now a curry and a few beers !)

60s Touring Cars, 60s and 70s GT cars , old Formula Fords, Minis, E-Types, GT40, Lolas, Chevrons........

What an excellent day and reminded me why I used to love going to these sorts of races. Total access to the paddock, wander the pits and into the pitlane, such a difference to some of the modern series and my last experience of F1 and WRC where you can't get anywhere near let alone talk to mechanics and drivers, stick your head into the cockpits and have a look, watch driver changes in the pits etc.

I can highly recommend it. Bit bloody chilly mind you and a few drops of rain otherwise a great and cheap day.

A few photos and more in my Photo Archive.

Austen on here told me about it, and I popped down on a random dry wednesday and it was great fun, and only £2 as a spectator
