Rear hub help

Ive just replaced a broken driveshaft and come to refitting the hub. What grease is recommended here and does this rubber need replacing as the pics?? If so where can i get one of these easily? Any tips much appreciated as want to get sorted this weekend if possible whilst i have a bit of time!

Cheers in advance!

Moly based grease, when I tried to get new bearings and seals from the motor factors they couldn't help me because I couldn't tell them what car it was from all I new was Sierra which apparently was not enough.

Found them on ebay in the end.

The bearings are in two parts the inner race is bashed into the bearing carrier the taper roller bearing will just fall out after the seal is removed.

Seal generally gets damaged when you take it out because you need a screwdriver and a bit of force.

You should be able to have a feel at the bearing turning if it feels nice and smooth and not gritty probably o.k. they are designed to do about 100k miles or so.

when you come to removing the bearings use a hot air gun to heat up the bearing you will find it comes out a lot easier
remove the rubber sill and remove the inner part of the bearing and you will be left with the outer part of the race in the hub aim the heat gun at this part to heat up the hole race and it will come out with a gental tap!!!
