BT Vison?

Any got this? Shortly about to become a new customer of theres.

Im not a big TV person but as its £16 for a broadband only package Im looking at getting the £20 bt vision package with 'TV+Catchup' which appears to make sense over the £18 PAYG tariff without costing to much of giving me stuff im not goign to use. If my lodger(s) want more the can pay as they go.

As a student ive used virgin medias's basic TV package (again, thrown in with the internet) which basicaly did freeview, plus access to iplayer and 40d, which is all I really want. I understand with the bt vision i get this, plus a hdd recoreder?

The other option is a PC run through the TV it iplayer et all on it, but for £48 the neetness of a decated settop box appears worth it.

I work for BT and get it as part of my package. We use it all the time, hard drive recorder is great, also easy access to iplayer, some pay to view stuff is a little on the pricey side, but no more so than from anywhere else, but with the ability to watch recorded or catchup stuff there's little need to buy other stuff.

I think we'll give it a hoot and a holla for a year then.
- As said, at £20 a month its only £50 a year more than any other £16 a month broadband package.
