The small cylinder is the valve system I think. amazing thing.
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

Aye, it's not a compound, it's single acting cylinder with control valve, Very impressive though!
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.
