AC/DC Tig Fault
Just passing on some info/personal experience.
Have one of those Chinese Greenbird AC/DC 200 amp Tigs which I bought with the group buy on here. Been working fine but recently have been finding the
HF start has been intermittently staying on.
I traced the fault to the AC/DC switch on the front panel being open circuit- replaced switch and now working fine.

What symptoms suggest the HF is staying on? Just curious as mine has a funny start up thing sometimes - whereby it arcs up but crackles/buzzes for
several seconds before the arc stabilizes and you can start welding....
Wondering if mine is the same problem....

The thing is I thought it was the HF start causing the problem - but it was staying in AC (off and on!) - also might be worth cleaning /checking the
spark gap on your machine if its giving you problems ( I cannt remember what the gap should be)

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
