WTD: Pair of wheelchair motors or similiar
OT
A bit of a long shot, but has anybody got a pair of wheelchair\golf buggy\mobility scooter motors they don't want ?
I need them for the electric Landrover I'm building for my girls.
I'll be impressed if LCBs can come up trumps for this one !!

Sorry no gearboxes on the side it says Bosh CVA 24 v
they are 100mm in dia and 150mm long and have a 12mm shaft
At the moment there is a small drive cog on each one
they are mounted on three bolts on the front face
hope this helps

There used to be a regular at Rufforth autojumble who sold them, always had a stall at the bottom of the indoor central isle.
12v DC high torque motors with gearbox. Iv'e got one which i was going to use for an electric reverse. IIRC they were very reasonably
priced.

I may be your man.
My profession is a Rehabilitation Engineer and I scrap these sorts of things on a weekly basis!
My only issue is I am based south east London so you are a long way away.
U2U me and ill help you out.
Never under estimate the randomness of LCB!

Pretty sure i paid £38 Rob, but it was a good while back and they have probably gone up, if you do go down that route, just buy one, and you can have
this one at half of whatever they cost now Doubt i'll ever use it now.
I'll dig it out tomorrow and post a pic.
Al.
Thanks Al

I used a pair in the landrover i built for my grandson about 10 years ago
If its a toylander save youselve heaps of hassle and your back, by building it out of ply, not MDF as it says in the plan
mine was scaled down slightley, but was nearly as heavy as my 7
If i was doing it again, i would use cordless drills, in stead of wheelchair motors, as they are very heavy
