Treat me gently

Microsoft word will not open.Emails containing word docs not opening.Any ideas what to do seems as though a link is missing.Been told you cannot reinstall word on its own,you have to install the works package ?

Depends which version?

I use Office 2003 and you can install the individual programs Word, Excel,etc.

As I recall you could only install the whole package with Office 2000?

Depending on version you should be able to just do word.

Have you got an icon for word?

Whats it saying when you try to just open the program?

could be a file association problem make sure .doc & .docx are associated with word.
