Harness top mount covers - what are you using?
My car is pretty much ready for IVA, apart from covers for the harness top mounts, and its beginning to pi$$ me off!
I can't find covers that will actually go over the top mounts of my Sabelt harnesses. I've tried the Pajero ones on eBay, but they are
nowhere near wide enough. I tried emailing Sabelt directly (twice!), and got no reply.
What have you guys found that works?
Cheers

I just used standard ones, drilled a hole in them to fit over the plastic nut covers you can buy and used Tigerseal to stick them together. They then
just pop straight over the top of the nuts. Had them on for a few hundred miles now and they're still fine.
Have a look in my archive under 'Pre IVA'

nut covers
Hi
We went to our local breakers & found loads of nut covers on seatbelts ( the short ones, stick them on in case)
Then stuck some 'U' rubber on the metal bit, (for the radius's) passed OK no problems.
As an alternative use the STD domed nut covers , just cut them down in length & stick them on
with the jolop or silicone , you should have some that you used on the front suspension .
Good luck

Hi there, i have sabelts on my indy and found the buckle was too small for the pajero covers too but then borrowed another member's idea about
drilling the covers and then using cable ties. There are two small tabs on the underside of the pajero covers. I drilled hole in each of these just
big enough to get a small cable tie through. No problems with this during my IVA at norwich

I have Sabelt bolt in harnesses and used 4 of these. Held on with a cable tie round them and was fine at IVA.

I have 3 inch clip ins so was in same boat, I gave up and super glued some rubber trim on. Strangely enough they fell off on the way home after the
test.
