There is a panhard. You are not the first to mention this but I think it is a combination of low pressure high profile tyres, some lateral axle
movement (which is to be expected), axle 'roll' under cornering as the suspension compresses and the unusual view. As the prop flange
doesn't hit the tunnel either side with the adjustable Panhard rod and you don't feel it in the car I think it is normal.
I am just trying to understand the mechanism of this (from a mapping perspective).
It looks to me that it is only igniting after the 'tail' pipe and there are no pops (except the ones that blow out the flames when you
come back onto the power), so does that mean that what is coming out is so overloaded with fuel that it doesn't burn in the exhaust?
Is this all legacy fuel that has accumulated in the silencer when at high power? You get fewer flames at the beginning so maybe that makes sense.
More standard view with Andy Elcomb show boating in the car.
And the track
The car has a ceramic coated exhaust and the exhaust gases are way hotter than you would normally get (the heat has to go somewhere). When the car
was originally mapped it pop'ed and banged on overrun which, while amusing for 10 mins, gets very wearing so Atspeed put a little fuel into the
map at lift off to get round the ignition cut noises....hence what you see on overrun. The exhaust obviously gets hotter during the run and ignites
the small amount of fuel that is put through the system.

Jeff what gearbox do u run ?
The car has a BGH Type 9 E8 with special fairy dust. It is the top spec box BGH can make currently and is marginal for the engine. If I had the
money I'd be looking at a Quaife or Elite 6 speed sequential.
