BMW K100 BEC ENGINE PACKAGE FOR SALE
ive got the full bec engine package from my ADR for sale. its been stood for a few years but turns over freely. we had a quick try to fire it up
before we removed it and it was turning over but not firing. id say plugs need replacing and possibly a couple of other little bits.but at the price
should make a great install.
from what i can gather these are quite a robust unit with a few added benefits (other than low price) built in reverse gear. flat 4 design and
designed to run north/south and drive a prop! will sit nice and low in chassis!
i have;
engine,
ecu,
engine loom,
fuel rail,
injectors,
starter,
alternator,
coils,
throttle bodies,
complete airbox,
reverse gear and linkage kit,
exhaust headers (slight corrosion)
basically a bit of plumbing, wiring etc and it should be good to go,for less than the price of an exhaust!
£425 takes it away! cheers

its a longitudinal in line 4cyl with crank in line with direction of travel, that sits flat. if looking from the rear, the crank is to the right, head
to the left!
so it sits quite low but reasonably wide.

They were originally a Peugeot car engine! But i too was intrigued, and you can buy turbo kits for them - 350rwhp is possible, and around 180rwhp on
stock internals.

yeah around 90 bhp. but looks built to last forever and isnt in bad condition. ist been stored around 8 years and only done 2x shakedown tests in the
car. its just a bit dusty from storage, but it turned over freely when tried. ill give it a clean tomorrow and if anyone wants to make an offer before
ebay then feel free

Might be worth advertising on mini forums. The head and injections can be bolted with a "few" modifications onto an A series block for a
"cheap" 16V head.
Both "few" and "cheap" being relative terms.
