Drive shaft's 2

I have lobo bolt on shafts and when i hold the inner lobo i can feel a clicking tapping noise will this be the lobo or the diff causing this ?
Also to any one that has had drive shafts lobo's wear was it the inner or outer that wore

Lobro and when you say 'when you hold it' what do you do to cause/feel the tapping.

i can feel a bit of play between the joint and splines on mine - unbolt the shaft and see if you can find where the play is coming from. Don't think there's much that can be done / worth worrying about with play of the splines.

I think I've still got a spare pair of used 100mm CV's if you want them ? (postage could be a killer)

Un bolt the shafts then rock the input flanges to see if you can still feel the movement.
If you can its the diff. (if the prop stays still)

I am having a very similar problem, fitted three diffs and now i am sure the knocking i am getting is not the diff.
Have fitted new lobo joints to old shafts but still got play on the shafts. I checked for play on a friends push in drive shaft and there is none at all. Have put it down to the lobo shafts should have some play in them but the rubber coupling on the prop stops the knocking. As we have no rubber coupling we have no shock absorption. Hope this makes sense.
