Will a lhd escort rack work as a rear mounted rhd rack ?
I need to source a rack for my hot rod and a std escort rack won't work as the steering arms are rear mounted .
I'm wondering if a lhd rack turned round would work in a rear mounted position ?

cant you use the hubs on the opposite sides which will allow a standard rack to work the other way is to look for a rack that operates from the rear

A RHD Mk1/MK2 Fiesta rack with track rod extensions is what you need if you are using Cortina or Sierra uprights.

Fiesta rack is too slow and I'm going to use an epas column so I can run a decent amount of castor .

It should work - early Scimitars use a LHD rack flipped over, as standard.

I have an escort LHD rack if you're interested
Was going to do the same as you but chassis design and uprights made me go front steer, and my rack would be back to front then!
It's a 'OEM-Quality' one off ebay, 2.4 lock to lock i think
(hope this is okay, what with being new here...)
