Seat runners
I've got some at the moment but there is a lot of play in the runners which means that the seats wobble quite a lot. They're safe, but
it's going to make getting the car past scrutineers tricky for sprinting.
Can anyone recommend a better choice for runners (ideally as low as possible)?
cheers

You want them to be light aswell.
A pair of them can add 15kg to your car!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Blimey that's heavy. Not sure the passenger really needs one mind, but definitely good to have for the driver.

Mine, the ones that fit Cobra roadster 7 seats are good, not that heavy and less than 1 inch

If there's no play in them when the seats are mounted (i.e., if you grab the seat and wiggle it, it's solid) then I'll take them
please.
Can you let me know width so I can check they fit though?
cheers

Some only lock one of the two sliders, the better ones lock both and are a lot less prone to slopping about the place.
It does add weight, but I must say, I have a pair for them
- Drivers side so that dad can reach the pedels, although I think he has only driven it once.
- Passenger side as it allows you to slide it forward 6inchs and use the behind seat space for luggage...
