Tyre Choice?

My car originally came with some 7x15" wheels fitted with 200/58 dunlop slicks.

I have purchased some 6x15" wheels at the same offset, and want to fit road tyres to this set.

What are your recommendations on size of tyre to fit to the new wheels? Keeping in mind availability, cost and choice?

Given 6" is 152mm a 165 wide tyre seems the simplest answer but that seems too narrow to me?

165 is a bit narrow.

They are designed for a little heavier car. The R1Rs are much better. But T1Rs are still ok if your not going mad
