Straight six trike

Well, its been a long time! After selling the locost and the Jag's, my business is now doing really well and i now have another Jag, a wife and am beginning to think about a new project!

Iv always wanted to have a car engined trike and what better engine to use than a jag!

Iv been doing so research and there are loads of V8 trikes so how hard can it be to make a straight 6 huh? lol

this is the sort of thing im thinking of:

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

but this jacket makes it impossible.

It will look unbalanced with exhaust on one side, carbs on the other. There are plenty of jag v12 trikes when googling, the engine is a similar length and they just look to long.

Better to look for a 2.5l Daimler v8, nice small engine which may have been planted in some jags ?

If you insist this may be the simple way to go for a short transmission Links

Thanks for the replys and welcome backs. My man worry is that it would look like that ^^^ Another option is the 3.0 V6 and fit megasquirt or throttle bodys.

If its anything like the one that Mark Evans from a Sportscar is born built then the front end is very heavy, take into account the distance of the front end from the rear wheels and the closeness of the engine it more than balances out.

Not sure the wife would be too happy if i got a girlfriend.

I remembered that a mate of mine has a ford V6 in his conservatory (been there for the last 3-4 years) and his missus wants rid of it for some reason. Think its a 2.9. Anyone have any opinions? Good engine, bad engine?
