theyre easy to make with some clear perspex and a heat gun
make a template out of cardboard so that it the right shape, allowing for a 90 degree bend at the bottom to hold it outwards to deflect the air past you
then cut with a jigsaw, sand smooth and gently bend it with a paint stripper heat gun
i made two for my westfield with one sheet off ebay for about £8.00

Side wind deflectors

Thanks for the reply, how long did you make them and how much bend did you put on them.

These are what I made:

As above - just a sheet of lexan cut to a cardboard template, fastened with a couple of stainless steel strips bent to a slight angle and bolted to the windscreen uprights. I bent the lexan using a small sheet metal bender - works OK as long as you leave the protective sheet on both sides, and don't try to bend too far (mind you, I bent part of it 90 degrees!).

Different cars will be different but
I went from the same height as the screen straight down beyond about 5" below
Bend at about 90 degrees which pushes it outwards and the edge then rests against the body - as the pic shows
About 6" wide
Me being tight dictated the size as i made 2 out of 1 sheet
If i did them again i would do them a bit longer and make them stick out more , maybe a bit wider too
Theyre ok to legal speeds as they are though
