Tin Top Radiator - EIS Radiator
The radiator on my MINI Cooper needs replacing.
I have looked on eBay and the reviews of the cheap radiators and they are a little sketchy, so Eurocar parts seems to be the way to go.
There regular priced radiator is made by a company called EIS radiators.
Has anyone used one of these radiator before, opinions please?
Or is is worth stumping up the extra 40 quid for a HELLA branded one?
I know this is a finger in the air question, so finger in the air answer is welcomed.

Yep, I got one for my tin top a few weeks ago from cp4l, it arrived boxed (by ies) with no packing so by thew time it arrived with me it had no hose
connection points left. Returned and got another ies one from ecp, that too was missing a couple of plastic corners due to no packing but at least had
all connection points. Bought a new genuine hose (306 uses a dumb o ring bayonet connector for one) and it is now leaking from what appears to be that
oring.
I'd buy it again (quality looks pretty good) but I'd make sure I picked it up and checked it in store and be wary that you buy and
necessary blanking plugs - mine was a very widespread design that just had a few holes for different cars and I had to go find the right blanking
plugs.
For the difference in price on a 15 year old car (450 vs 50) I was happy to run the gauntlet.

Thanks for the reply its much appreciated.
I remember the 306 fitting. Did one of those for a mate back in the days at uni. The bottom hose is a complete PITA.
I collected mine from Europarts and it is looked OK.
When I got it fitted there was water around the top of the radiator, but it dried up after the radiator for hot. I think I splashed it with the hose
when filling up the watering can.
Unfortunately it did not solve my issue. The car is still wanting to run warm after a new radiator and thermostat!
