Complete BEC package

Complete BEC package

ENGINE
2003 Kawasaki ZX9R F2P
This is one of the last 9R’s, Kawasaki had sorted out the 9 by this time.
The gearbox is very sweet, and in just over 1000miles not missed one change.
The crankshaft was made heavier to give a smoother take off, you can feel this in a BEC, stalls are almost none existent.
The carbs have had the usual .40 pilot jets fitted, the needles shimmed by 0.5mm and the ignition advanced 4degrees,
this makes for a smoother pick up from low revs.
The carbs work well, but a rolling road set up would make a difference.
The MK would cruise at 30-40MPH with a 14 stone passenger and pull away in 6th gear.

Included with Engine:
Wiring: Much as I can separate from the main harness, including ECU/Ignitor,Starter and fuel pump relays, bike fuse box and rectifier.
Mounting cradle: has been rubber mounted, but this can be removed.
Control Cables: Clutch, Accelerator, Choke complete with all fixings and brackets (I could throw in the pedals if needed)
Radiator: Complete with mountings and all aluminium tubing and Silicone hoses and clips, ODB alloy Header Tank and fixings.
Gear change: Rod change with all pivots, engine gear change lever and gear lever with ally knob and chassis pivot.
Air Box: Modified to fit under bonnet, with BMC filter and air inlet hoses.

PROP SHAFT:
A D&F all new prop with TRT, built with GKN Freelander joints and centre bearing.
Comes with centre bearing chassis mount.

Exhaust: Modified bike header with ZX12R Titanium Silencer. Two replacement link pipes: One with an extra silencer and the other with a Cat Converter.

Instruments: Acewell Digi Dash with all senders (including fuel) and wiring.

Included are all the nuts and bolts etc. and anything else not listed that I have, and don’t need.
I also have a 3.6 open diff, of unknown origin, that I will throw in as well.

I am open to sensible offers, but am looking for around £1000, what I paid for the BARE engine and the prop Shaft.

Sorry! Given it a lot of thought. Had two good summers and over 3000 miles with the BEC, fabulous times, but need a challenge
Was thinking ZX12R, but, have you seen the prices So going AJ30 with Getrag gearbox and (possibly) Emerald ECU, all for less than half the price of a 12R. But,still, do love the BEC

I will give it a week, then split and sell separately. I would rather sell as a whole though.
