1.8 cvh thermostat housing?
Hi all, my first post
I'm converting my engine to run on bike carbs, just left wondering what to do about the thermostat as the housing is bolted to the standard
manifold, would it be easier to use a different housing?

The stat housing from a fwd cvh should bolt on if you take the core plug out.

As Above
Yes FWD housing fits straight on.

Hang on there!
Yes one will fit, but before you abandon all and go for it, it has to go on the rear of the engine so check you will have enough clearance between the
head and the bulkhead chassis members.
Another way out may be to cut a hole on the metal plate where the exit is to the exiting thermostat and weld in a tube and fit out to an in line stat
of some type!

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.

Thanks fort the replies I'll look around

Hi,
I have a suitable thermostat housing for rear mounting at home if you want.
I can post some pictures early next week if you are interested.
(I nearly went CVH in my Fury - and prepared a stat housing for fitment)
